PASTOR PAUL SHELTON 

I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas by faithful Christian parents. In April of 1979, at seven years of age, I trusted Christ for salvation at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Lake Worth, TX. Upon graduation from high school, I attended Texas Wesleyan University and eared my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. I married my wife Kim in July of 1994, and we have two children, Hannah and Jonah.

In 1997, I felt the call of God upon my life for ministry, and I left the field of accounting to take the position of Youth Pastor at my home church. For the next eight years, I served as associate staff in two churches while working on my masters degree from Louisiana Baptist University. In 2005, Central Baptist Church called me as its pastor. We blessed to be a part of such a loving and caring church family. 

ASSociate PASTOR Todd stout 

Todd was born and raised in a Christian home in Amarillo, Texas. In 1987 at the age of six,
Todd realized his need for a Savior, and trusted Jesus Christ for salvation. In 2001, Todd married his wife, Ruby, on his twenty-first birthday. God has blessed them with four children: Ethan, Isaac, Ayden and Emily.

The Stouts served in many areas at Arden Road Baptist Church,
including the Youth Department and the Deacon board, before answering the call to attend bible college. In 2010, Bro. Todd moved his family to Oklahoma City where he attended Heartland Baptist Bible College. After graduation, the Stouts remained in Oklahoma City and Bro. Todd served at Kingspark Baptist Church. In 2016, the Lord opened the doors for Bro. Todd and his family to return to Amarillo, Texas and serve at Arden Road Baptist Church. In 2017, Bro. Stout accepted the position as the Associate Pastor at Central Baptist Church in Denton where he teaches the Singles Adult class.

Youth Pastor David Huffman

David Huffman grew up in a Christian family. As a military kid, he had the privilege of living in many different places and the Lord provided a good church in each place he and his family lived. Growing up in a good family does not mean that one’s heart is right with God, and it was not until after his junior year of Bible college that David truly placed his faith in Christ alone for righteousness before God. David married his wife, Katie, in the summer of 2020, and they have a daughter, Amanda.

David and his wife both graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible college with degrees in missions, and they served in many different areas while members of Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They worked several years in the four-year-old department, and a combined total of seven years in the bus ministry, as well as many other service and visitation ministries. In October of 2021, they became the youth pastor and youth pastor’s wife at Central Baptist Church.
